After our live recording last night (post coming soon with full details...for now, I uploaded a few videos on Facebook for a preview), today was our final day in Peru, as well as our only day off. Grateful to be moving at a slower pace, since this trip has been the epitome of that 2x high speed Snapchat filter.
Photos are my favorite way of reliving memories, but when someone compliments your shoes and you can say, "Thanks, I got them in Peru," that's pretty cool too. :) However, I have a knack for purchasing the quirkiest souvenirs...like a Hello Kitty plush that makes perfect sense in Tokyo, but makes absolutely no sense in my real life context. (At least I'm self-aware?) So over time, I've done my best to gravitate toward souvenir purchases that'll easily transition and actually translate into my every day life.
This time around, I opted for rose gold mirror sunglasses and these adorable patchwork jeans. Both worked perfect with the pink top and chambray I already had on...I wore them right out of the store! Linked all of the shopping details above.
We had a Peruvian meal in Mira Flores on the coast before heading to the airport. I should also mention that Inca Cola has become my favorite (pictured below). It's similar to a Big Red? Like a fruity sweet bubble gum treat. Anyway, here's a few photos from my day!
Much love from Peru xo
